Cardio Cardio Cardio, to do or not to do? That is the never ending question!
When you struggle with your joy of cardio, please remember the most important muscle in the body is the heart. Cardio is a workout for the heart. It exercises your heart to make it strong which will make your body function so much better.
So, if you ever want to do a quick cardio blast but are stuck for ideas. Think heart rate up, blood pumping and feeling gooooooooooooood.
Here are a few favorites at Pepper Hustle that will help you get your sweat on when you are short on time.
Starting with feet hip width apart, shoulders low and abs tight. Run on the spot, knees high as fast as you can for a slow 10 count.
As fast as you can shuffle to the right and left for a 1,2,3 knee up. This move is fast and furious, no stopping.
Right and Left = 1 Rep
Start with feet hip width apart, jump both feet out and in. Keep shoulders low and tummy tight. Raise arms up and down as you jump feet out and in.
Out and In = 1 rep
Start with feet together. Shoulders low and tummy tight. Jump forward placing feet slightly wider than shoulders. Jump back with feet coming back together.
Forward and Back = 1 rep
Complete these 4 exercises in a #pepperpyramid format doing 10 reps of each exercise, followed by 9 of each, 8, 7 all the way to the final 1 rep of each.
The pyramid should be completed with as little rest as possible to get the heart racing and the blood pumping!! 4 fabulous cardio exercises which are great for the heart and lungs.
